About Golden Avenue

Golden Avenue is a lush, open-armed take on Middle Eastern flavour. Smoky charcoal, woodfired breads, and garden terrace energy all come together under one roof. From mezze to mastiha, Habibi Funk to high-heat grills, Golden Avenue brings rhythm, smoke and sound to the heart of Brisbane. 

The Role

Golden Avenue is seeking a dedicated and motivated Barback/Glassy to join the team. In this hands-on role, you will support the bar team by keeping the venue clean, organised and running efficiently while supporting the bar team during service. You will be a vital part of creating great guest experiences.  If you are eager to grow your skills and eventually step behind the bar, we would love to support that journey.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain high levels of customer service
• Attend to all guest needs warmly and politely
• Restock bar supplies and inventory
• Experience with glass washers preferred but not essential
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• RSA required
