The Role

We are looking for passionate Junior Sommelier to join our sAme sAme Restaurant team as a casual. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while being afforded opportunities for development and growth with our talented Wine Team. Please note this role can be fulltime with some shifts performing as a section waiter.

 

The Requirements

  • Provide expert recommendations for wine to guests.

  • Supporting the wider restaurant team where needed
  • Attend regular tastings to expand your knowledge and be up to date with emerging producers 

  • Oversee wine service during service hours, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and excellence.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in wine

  • Exceptional service skills that are guest-focused

  • Passion for the wine and drinks world, and a love of dining

  • WSET certification or similar is highly regarded

  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn

  • Highly adaptable and able to perform in high-pressure service periods

  • Exceptional communication and presentation

  • RSA Certificate

Anyday is a Brisbane based collective of restaurants founded by Tyron Simon, Bianca Marchi, Ben Williamson and Frank Li. First founded in 2014 with a single venue, it has now grown to several, all based in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, with plans for many more.
