The Role

Anyday is actively looking for a Accounts Officer to join our finance team in our period of growth, an excellent opportunity to work in an experienced team while contributing to the financial success of the business. This is a newly created role supporting the team in all accounting functions from bookkeeping and bank reconciliations to preparing budgets and financial statements. This role would suit a dedicated bookkeeper or Junior accountant with a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.

The Requirements

• Daily sales reconciliations 
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting month-end close and reporting
• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Providing adhoc assistance to the broader finance team
• Intermediate proficiency with excel & Xero
• experience in GL reconciliations and month end processes
• Relevant tertiary qualifications required 
• CPA/CA status not necessary but intention to complete would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Time management and attention to detail are a must
