The Role

We are looking for an experienced Venue Manager to open our new bakery in New Farm. This venue will be open for breakfast and Lunch in February next year and we would look to train and onboard the successful candidate in January. The role might suit candidates who are looking to step away from dinner services in their current restaurant role. We are looking for someone outgoing, organised and personable to be the face of our highly anticipated new venue opening!

The Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar senior role.

• Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and a curiosity in developing these skills

• Leading the day-to-day operations of the venue.

• Ensuring facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and gleaming

• Delegating duties to supervisors and training and supervising wait staff.

• Maximising productivity and performance.

• Understanding of administrative software tools.

• Experience in rostering, food & beverage cost management and stock control.

• Exceptional leadership skills & stakeholder management

• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment. 

• Takes the initiative and is self-motivated.
