About Agnes 

Set in a heritage building in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, Agnes is an experience built around the elemental art of wood-fired cooking—no gas, no electricity, just flame. Set across three thoughtfully designed levels, including a main dining room, wine bar and terrace, Agnes celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and seasonal produce. Our meticulously curated beverage program—featuring a deep, evolving wine cellar, thoughtful cocktails and rare spirits—complements the bold flavours of our open-fire menu.

The Role

Agnes are looking for experienced section waiters for approximately 30 hours per week, where our service style is approachable and the magic happens all in the detail. Hours and rosters vary with some flexibility but weekend and evening shifts will be required in this role.

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environment
• A passion for delivering an exceptional dining experience 
• Confidently able to run a section 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high-pressure situations
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Have a curiosity to learn and grow
